Which one of the below options did you use to install the CMS?

Create database if it doesn't exist (yes or no)

When you set that option to yes you MUST hold the permissions to create a new database regardless of your SQL authentication type.

Without permissions the script will fail to create the database and you will get an exception as a consequence.

By the way if the script fails to create the database you should see an error message reporting the reason of why it failed.

Hi Valgen, thank you for your prompt response! my apologies if I couldn't reply before as yesterday was my daughter's birthday.
What I did was to choose "yest" in order to create a database... what I'm not sure is where to set the permissions you mention... could you please point me out?

Regards,

Paris

HI Valgen,

I tried again from scratch, this time pointing to a localhost and it worked beautifully... thank you!
