w3wp.exe exception when logging in as admin or subscriber.

I get the below error when trying to login as an administrator or a subscriber on my local build. The site works perfectly when run from within Visual Studio 2013.

I also have a version that is running on a sub-domain which also has issues when logging in. In that the login form returns empty in admin and returns with no form at all in the subscriber login form.

Hi EddieBT,

Unfortunately KernelBase errors are too generic, you need to check the dump file to find more detailed messages. Here is a good tutorial: http://blog.whitesites.com/Debugging-Faulting-Application-w3wp-exe-Crashes__634424707278896484_blog.htm

Also, if you haven't done it yet, please try to download the latest version (not the latest release) from here and let me know if it solves this issue: https://mvcwcms.codeplex.com/SourceControl/latest

Hi Valgen,

Thanks for the comeback. I did try the latest build but got the same issue. I would have spent time debugging this but I get the same problem on the virtual hosted site, which I can't debug to that level. The problem stems from the login both admin and subscriber. Annoyingly when I first set this up on a development virtual directory on my virtual host it worked fine but I forgot about MVC's fussiness with roots. So I moved it to a sub domain and that's when it all went pear-shape.
